Lisa engages with creative process as a form of contemplative practice. For her, art making is a way to directly experience the sacred, interconnected ground of being and appreciate the potential held within the open space of not knowing.

In addition to her work as an artist, Lisa teaches meditation, facilitates workshops in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and combining contemplative practice with making art making. As a volunteer for the American Red Cross she facilitates Mind-Body and Resiliency workshops for Services to the Armed Forces.

She’s held credentials as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified Registered Art Therapist, and has held adjunct facility positions at Naropa University’s Graduate School of Psychology and in Red Rocks Community College’s Integrative Health Professions program.
